David had mentored me and got me connected to many resources and opportunities within informatics. He would try to meet up with me often times and give me guidance on my career and offer on academics. We collaborated on projects such as OpenEMR projects and AnyWearVR. He is a passionate leader and a great collaborator that sets a good standard for me to reach in the near future when I graduate. I am grateful to have him as my mentor!

Their encouragement and advice were truly invaluable and am so grateful to have found mentors that helped me get to where I am today. As I strive to advance in the field of health IT, people like Brian, Beju, Tony, and David will continue to be my role models. They inspire pharmacists to venture out and really are innovators in their own rights who are visionaries not only for pharmacy but in the world of health IT.

I couldn’t have asked for a better mentor! Learning and success doesn’t come overnight, and this field comes with many inherent challenges. I am fortunate to have a friend who is motivated and passionate about the field guide me.

Tony’s guidance to me, starting as a student and now as an informatics pharmacist of 5 years has been invaluable. He pushed me to learn and understand subject matter necessary for success in this field and continues to offer advice despite our paths diverging to different software platforms.
