Pharmacy Rotations (APPE) – Available Virtual Preceptors Database
Due to the coronavirus, many pharmacy students are seeing their pharmacy rotations terminated. In order for a pharmacy student to graduate, they will have to meet certain rotation contact hours.
Equally important, there is tremendous amount of value from going through a pharmacy rotation. The experience gained range from utilizing your clinical knowledge to improving your time management skills. Completing a pharmacy rotation allows for exponential, personal growth. Students will be losing valuable pharmacy practice experience under highly experienced preceptors. It may be a rotation that they have waited months to years to get into. Or it may be a rotation that they didn’t realize that they would LOVE as a potential career path. In addition, students will lose out on developing meaningful relationships and connections found within pharmacy rotations.
The Pharmacy Informatics Academy Team is developing a database to help find available preceptors that can precept students virtually.

Hi…
I am a Foreign Pharmacy Graduate and located in India. I have achieved the “NABP – FPGEC” Certificate and currently looking forward to achieve a minimum of 1500 Pharmacy Internship hours virtually so that I can qualify to take up the NAPLEX Examination.
In view of the above, may I request you to connect with a “Virtual Pharmacy Preceptor” and help me out in this regard?
Please let me know if I can furnish any additional information in this regard.
Sincerely,
Ravi Gopal
